Second Saturdays at the Craft Center

Second Saturdays are programs designed for the whole family! Enjoy hands-on activities in the Craft Academy - appropriate for "kids" 5 years of age and older, participate in craft workshops for those 18 and older, dine in the Craft Cafe, interact with artists who created one of our exhibitions, listen to music, and more!

Craft Academy: Metal Pendant workshop

Inspired by the work of metalsmith, James Bove, make copper pendants with decorative drawn patterns! Fee: FREE, appropriate for those 5 and older

Craft Academy: Coil Built Baskets workshop

Inspired by the work of ceramics artist, Andrea Moon, learn to build with air-dry clay using the coil method! Fee: FREE, appropriate for those 5 and older

Craft Academy: Milk Painted Wooden Sculptures

Inspired by the work of wood artists, Kimberly Winkle and Bet Ireland, construct wooden sculptures, then add bright designs with milk paints! Fee: FREE, appropriate for those 5 and older
