Tours of the Appalachian Center for Craft are available for groups of up to 10, with advanced reservations, on Fridays between 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m..
Prospective students with an interest in a B.F.A. degree in one of the craft concentrations can schedule a tour Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m..
Because we are a school with studio classrooms, the studios are not open to the public on a “walk in” basis due to academic classes and workshop schedules.
To arrange a tour, please e-mail Matthew Tate, firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 615.597.6801 or 931.372.6897.
The Center for Craft is located on more than 500 wooded acres overlooking scenic Center Hill Lake.
We maintain four hiking trails of various distance and difficulty, The William Stacey Memorial Trail System.
