Intro to Wheel Throwing with Rachel Clark
Focus on the basics of throwing clay on the wheel. Explore fundamental shapes and new techniques. Beginning through intermediate throwers are welcome. This is a technique based workshop. We will most likely not produce functional work. - $75 ($25 additional fee to fire pots)

Pottery Boot Camp I with Patrick Green
The purpose of this workshop is not to make pots, but to learn how to make pots. Focus on the process of creating pottery, not just the final piece. Gain intense experience throwing and making pots from clay. Come in as a beginners and leave as a journeyman. Do you think you have what it takes to survive Pottery Boot Camp? - $300 (Included one bag of clay and one firing.) Class meets 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. each day scheduled.

Wild Clay of Middle Tennessee with Rachel Clark
Humanity has been utilizing clay for thousands of years. Explore the history and use of the naturally occurring clay of middle Tennessee while processing a smal batch of wild clay in a traditional manner. Use a coiling technique to construct small pots and burnish the exterior. - $75 ($25 additional fee to fire pots)

Slab Built Flower Box with Laser Sgraffito with Rachel Clark
Sgraffito is a method of inscribing lines into clay to create image, pattern and texture. Explore the new laser-sgraffito method to create the effects of sgraffito with a laser etcher as well as hard slab construction. Build a flower box with our templates or your own design. Imagery is provided, but participants may use their own. No experience necessary. - $85 ($25 additional fee to fire flower box.)

Carved Serving Dishes
Learn the subtraction method of clay construction while carving serving dishes, trays and spoons. Give complexity to the carved forms through the use of color and texture. No experience required, hand building experience is helpful. - $85 ($25 additional fee to fire the pieces)
