Mohammad Albakri, Ph.D.
Dr. Mohammad Albakri joined the Mechanical Engineering Department at Tennessee Tech in Fall 2019. His research interests are in the areas of computational mechanics and structural dynamics with applications in structural health monitoring, advanced manufacturing, and smart structures. He received his Ph.D. degree in Engineering Mechanics from Virginia Tech in 2016 and his Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Masdar Institute of Science and Technology in 2011. To date, he has published 12 peer-reviewed articles, presented in numerous national and international conferences, and filed two patent applications. His research has been supported by the National Science Foundation and the Federal Railroad Administration.
