Response to COVID-19 and Temporary Move to Online or Alternative Learning Delivery

In response to the COVID-19 virus, campus decision makers have had to make tough choices to keep everyone safe. This includes switching to online and alternative delivery formats for courses beginning on March 30, 2020 for an unspecified time.
As of March 30, 2020, the Accessible Education Center will be holding all student appointments via phone or via other online meeting platforms as arranged. Please call 931-372-6119 to schedule an appointment as needed. This includes prospective student meetings, regular AEC appointments for enrolled students, semester review meetings and academic coaching.
Qualified students receiving academic adjustments or accommodations for the Spring 2020 semester should continue to have access to accommodations throughout remote delivery of courses. The nature of any accommodations that were approved for Spring semester 2020 traditional courses may vary in the online format. The Accessible Education Center will collaborate with faculty on the provision of accommodations specific to the online environment as needed.
Switching to alternate forms of instruction will require the AEC team to work collaboratively
with faculty and other campus partners to ensure academic accommodations are provided
within the spirit of federal guidelines, all the while being as flexible and creative
as we can in response to this unprecedented circumstance.
