Dual Enrollment

Are you ready to start earning college credits while you are still in high school? Get started today by enrolling in Tennessee Tech University's Dual Enrollment Program! High School juniors and seniors that meet our eligible admission requirements can get their college career jumpstarted by taking select courses, helping them make a smooth transition to Tech to complete their degree. Start now by submitting your application for admission.


To be eligible for the Dual Enrollment program, students must:

  1. be a junior or senior in high school;
  2. have a minimum 3.2 high school GPA; or
  3. have a minimum composite of 20 ACT (SAT composite of 1020) or equivalent ACT Plan test score
  4. letter of recommendation provided by high school counselor

The tuition cost of a Dual Enrollment class is $166.00 per credit hour. This cost can be offset by the Dual Enrollment Grant, if the student applies and is ruled eligible. The student should be prepared to pay the tuition cost in advance and then be reimbursed. Other anticipated costs include textbooks, $25 application fee, online course fees, and any applicable lab fees.
