Welcome to the Music Department at Tennessee Tech!

Whether you’re interested in the Bachelor of Music degree, want to participate in one of our ensembles, or would like information about our many performances, you’ve come to the right place.

For those interested in the Bachelor of Music degree as educators or performers, our extensive programs and concentrations provide our students with a wide range of options and performance experiences. Our talented and experienced faculty assist and guide students through their studies and ultimately, toward successful and meaningful careers. Visit Music Studios.

For students not majoring in music, we also have a variety of fun musical outlets, both vocal and instrumental, open to participation. Visit Ensembles.

Our diverse musical programs and partnerships offer the university community, Cookeville, and the Upper Cumberland an exciting array of performances available to the public throughout the year, including recitals, small ensembles, orchestral performances, and more.

The music courses, recitals, and concerts are located in the Bryan Fine Arts Building on historic Dixie Avenue. From private rehearsal rooms to a 500-seat concert auditorium, we offer our students access to a wealth of resources to assist in their programs of study.

The staff of the Music Department is always available to assist students and visitors to the Bryan Fine Arts Building. If you have questions about the Music Department at TTU or its programs, give us a call at 931-372-3161 or email
