Welcome from the Chair
Welcome Students One and All
to the Music Department at Tennessee Tech!
Our extensive programs and concentrations available for music majors provide our students a wide range of focus options and performance experiences as they pursue the Bachelor of Music degree as educators or performers. Our talented and experienced faculty are available to assist and guide students through their studies and ultimately, toward successful and meaningful careers.
The music courses, recitals, and concerts are located in the Bryan Fine Arts Building on historic Dixie Avenue. From private rehearsal rooms to a 500-seat concert auditorium, we offer our students access to a wealth of resources to assist in their programs of study.
For students not majoring in music, we also have a variety of fun musical outlets, both vocal and instrumental, open to participation. Who knows…you might just change your major!
Our diverse musical programs and partnerships offer the university community, Cookeville, and the Upper Cumberland an exciting array of performances available to the public throughout the year, including small ensembles, recitals, orchestral performances, and more.
The staff of the Music Department is always available to assist students and visitors to the Bryan Fine Arts Building. If you have questions about the Music Department at TTU or its programs, give us a ring at 931-372-3161 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
