Jorgensen’s doctoral research was focused at the interface of chemical and biomedical engineering, biology, and mathematics. Her research interests relate to the development and validation of a mathematical model for predicting the effects of facilitated wound closure techniques ( e.g., suturing, etc.) on resultant scarring.
