Assistantships and Research
Financial support through the University is typically administered through the department or one of the Centers of Excellence. Due to limited availability of funds, assistantships are granted on a competitive basis. Two types of assistantships are available:

Teaching Assistant (TA)
Candidates must demonstrate individual ability to support the instructional goals of the department.
The Center for Electric Power or the Manufacturing Center
Research Assistant (RA)
Candidates must establish a working relationship with faculty to support the research activities funded through the center.
