First Purple Career Readiness Workshop on Jan. 26: Resume Tweaks for Upcoming Job Fairs

Join the Center for Career Development on Tuesday, Jan. 26, beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Roaden University Center Multipurpose Room (2nd floor) for the first Purple Career Readiness Workshop of the semester! Russ Coughenour, Director of the Center for Career Development, will be breaking down the top-tier resume guide for soon to be graduates.

This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Purple Career Readiness Certificate for junior and senior students. Bring your Eagle Card for a quick sign-in.

Hello! My name is Sarah Moore, and I am the Graduate Teaching Assistant in charge of the Writing Excellence Studio at Tech’s Engineering campus this academic year. I’m available for writing consultations as follows:

  • Mondays from 9-noon and 1-3pm
  • Tuesdays from 9-11am and noon-2pm
  • Wednesdays from 3-5pm
  • Thursdays from 9-11am and noon-4pm
  • Fridays 9-noon.

As a writing consultant I can identify issues, make suggestions, and help you become a better writer (this does not mean that I am there to proofread). To make an appointment with me, simply go to TechConnect, click “Make an Appointment,” then choose Tutoring, Writing Assistance, and Writing Consultation (WEST). After hitting the “Next” button, select “Online WEST” and then “Moore, Sarah.” Finally, you can select a time for our appointment. When I receive the appointment notification, I will send you a meeting invite via Teams. If possible, email me your document before our meeting.
