Every Engineering student should take the following courses:
- Compressed Gas Safety
- Electrical Safety General Awareness
- Emergency and Fire Preparedness
- Hand and Power Tool Safety
- Hand Safety
- Hazard Communication
- Hearing Conservation
- Heat Stress
- Lockout Tagout
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Portable Fire Extinguisher Safety
- Slips, Trips, and Falls
- TN Tech Lab Safety
- University Laboratory Safety - Working Safely
Use the step-by-step instructions linked here to navigate the portal and find the courses to take. Once each course is completed, download and save the certificate in pdf form. These certificates can be submitted in iLearn assignments when asked. Stay tuned for a College of Engineering Master Course on Lab and Shop Safety to be released soon!
