    Co-op Meetup CPT on Wednesday, Sept. 8, at 11 a.m. in RUC Multipurpose Room

    Are you interested in Co-op? Need to find out how YOU can be Co-op eligible? Attend this Co-op Meetup on Wednesday, Sept. 8, in the Roaden University Center Multipurpose Room (2nd floor) at 11 a.m. Any student interested in accepting a Cooperative Education position with an employer MUST attend a Co-op Meetup.

    This event has a special focus for international students/CPT, but it is still beneficial for ANY student who wants to meet the requirements of the Cooperative Education program.

    The Co-op Meetup will explain the eligibility guidelines for enrolling in the Cooperative Education Program, which went into effect July 1, 2019 for all students.  Pre-registration to enroll in the Co-op Program is now required and attending a Co-op Meetup is your first step!  The new eligibility guidelines can be found at:

    Gold Career Readiness Workshop on Sept. 9: Writing my First Resume

    Join the Center for Career Development on Thursday, Sept. 9, beginning at 11 a.m. in Clement Hall 212 for the first Gold Career Readiness Workshop of the semester! A staff member from the Center for Career Development will be describing the characteristics of a strong, foundational resume.

    This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Gold Career Readiness Certificate for freshman and sophomore students. Bring your Eagle Card for a quick sign-in.

    To attend virtually, access the TEAMS link in Handshake Events. To receive credit for attending, you must log in with your Tennessee Tech email, participate if asked to during the workshop and be present for at least 80% of the presentation, and make sure that your camera is turned on during your attendance.

    Employer Spotlight featuring Air Force ROTC is Thursday, Sept. 9

    Join the Air Force ROTC at their Employer Spotlight on Thursday, Sept 9, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.!  Recruiters will be located in the Swoops Food Court on the ground floor of the Roaden University excited to speak to YOU!

    Feeling called to serve?  Looking for a way to help pay for school? Passionate about flying or fascinated with space?  Air Force ROTC is an educational program designed to give men and women the opportunity to become a commissioned officer in the Air or Space Force while completing their undergraduate degree.   

    If you are answered YES to any of the questions above, stop by the Employer Spotlight on September 9th from 11am to 1 pm and visit with recruiters!
