    Student Success Fair Next Thursday!

    Sept. 23rd is the annual College of Engineering Student Success Fair from 11:00-1:00! Come out and learn all that the College of Engineering has to offer you form advising and services to student organizations and clubs. There will be plenty of food, fun, and games! (Rain back-up day, Sept. 30th)

    Undergraduate STEM Research Seminar: Dr. Mathew Pearson, University of Liverpool

    Dr. Mathew Pearson, a nuclear physicist hailing from the University of Liverpool, is visiting campus this week and will give our first Undergraduate STEM Research Seminar this semester. Dr. Pearson studies the properties of exotic nuclei using a laser to precisely measure atomic transitions that are affected by the configuration of the nucleus. His talk, Laser Spectroscopy in Nuclear Physics  will be this Friday, Sept. 17th at 4 p.m. in Volpe Library 248. It will be geared for undergraduates from any STEM major, but graduate students and faculty are also encouraged to attend!     Join WiCyS this upcoming Tuesday, Sept. 21st @ 11:00AM in Prescott 215! Students will be sharing their experiences from the 2021 WiCyS conference, from volunteering to attending workshops to presenting at various events. 

    We will also be sharing how you can attend and/or present at the 2022 WiCyS conference this upcoming March in Cleveland, Ohio!
