    Gold Career Readiness Workshop on Oct. 28: Top Ten Interview Tips for Internships

    Join the Center for Career Development on Thursday, Oct. 28, beginning at 11 a.m. in the Roaden University Center Multipurpose Room (2nd floor) for this Gold Career Readiness Workshop. A staff member from the Center for Career Development will guide you through the top tips to have a successful interview!

    This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Gold Career Readiness Certificate for freshman and sophomore students. Bring your Eagle Card for a quick sign-out.

    To attend virtually, access the TEAMS link in Handshake Events. To receive credit for attending, you must log in with your Tennessee Tech email, participate if asked to during the workshop and be present for at least 80% of the presentation, and make sure that your camera is turned on during your attendance.

    New Faculty Seminar Series Presents Mazen Hussein

    iMakerSpace Open House + Pancakes

    Come visit the iMakerSpace in Volpe Library 348 from 11am to 12pm on November 18th to enjoy some pancakes and see some of the cool things the iMakerSpace has to offer! You will be able to design and “print” your own pancakes via the PancakeBots in the space! In addition to 3D printing pancakes, we will have open demonstrations of 3D scanning objects for 3D printing and laser cutting keychains with our GlowForge Pro.

    iMakerSpace Holiday Ornament Design Contest

    Design an ornament to go on our holiday tree! Feel free to use our machines in the makerspace! There will be three categories:

      • BEST OVERALL: Wins spool of filament and a trophy
      • FREEHAND AWARD: Wins a trophy (must be drawn with 3D pen)
      • iMAKERSPACE CHOICE AWARD: Wins a trophy (be creative)


      • Cannot exceed 5x5”
      • Must be appropriate
      • Up to two submissions per entrant
      • Ornament must be hung on tree before November 30th

    AIChE & SWE Joint Halloween Party!

    The American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the Society of Women Engineers would like to invite you to our joint Halloween Party this Friday, October 29, from 5 to 9 p.m. in Prescott 215. We encourage you to come in costume, as we will be having a costume contest with prizes for the winners!     Tutoring Available with Pi Tau Sigma

    Every Thursday classes are in session from 6 – 8 p.m. Brown 326

    Pi Tau Sigma is offering tutoring on Monday nights from 6pm-8pm in Brown 326. Tutoring is available for any ME course up to 3000 level, Physics I & II, Math up to Calculus III, Statics, Mechanics and Materials, MATLAB, and Graphics.
