    Resume Book Deadline for the Annual Spring Engineering Fair is Monday, Feb. 21

    The Center for Career Development will be compiling Resume Books for employers who will be attending the Annual Spring Engineering Fair on March 8. These Resume Books will allow employers to view student information and even reach out to students before the fair begins! Employers will be able to request Resume Books for specific majors and students who are currently Co-op Eligible.

    To get your resume included, students need to have a critiqued resume uploaded on Handshake, and the resume MUST be marked Public to Employers.

    The deadline to have your resume uploaded to Handshake is Monday, Feb. 21.

    The Annual Spring Engineering Fair will be held on Tuesday, Mar. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Hooper Eblen Center.

    If you would like to be included in the Diversity Resume Book that Deadline is also Monday, February 2.

    How to win Eagle Works – Business Model Canvas and the Judging Rubric

    Jeff Brown from The Biz Foundry will be leading this session on how to make your idea come to life. Business Model Canvas is a great tool for you to learn if your idea or product is viable, how to identify your customers, find any issues, and give yourself and your team the best chance for success!

    The Eagle Works judging rubric is based off Business Model Canvas, so if you’re thinking about competing, this workshop is essential!

     Join us in the iMakerspace at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16!

    The iMakerspace is on the third floor of Volpe Library. Use the north staircase (past the MyTECH helpdesk) to access. If you need an accessible entrance, please email Andrea at before 4:30 p.m. that day to arrange.

    Kandy Thevar International Engineering Student Endowed Award - APPLY NOW!

    Any College of Engineering graduate, international student who meets the criteria outlined below will be eligible for this scholarship.

    Must be a current graduate student in good standing, having completed a minimum of nine (9) credit hours of graduate coursework, in accordance with current institutional policies.

    The candidate should be in possession of a valid student visa for the duration of the scholarship.

    Secondary preference should be given to students from Annamalai University, India, from which Dr. Deivanayagam graduated in 1963.

    The minimum annual scholarship award will be $1,500. An individual can receive this award one time only; this scholarship is not renewable.

  • Graduation Requirement: Senior Exit Exam

    Graduation Requirements

    If you intend on graduating this May you need to complete your graduation requirement the Senior Exit Exam. This is a one time 45 minute critical thinking exam.

    Online registration through the Testing Learning Center is open now! Testing will begin on February 21st and close on March 3rd, dates fil up quickly so register now!

Members from the WiCyS student chapter will be presenting Lightning Talks on a variety of topics including JSON web tokens, best cyber practices, advanced persistent threats, and more!     Autonomous Robotics Club

    Autonomous Robotics Club is a place for all majors to work on varying robotics projects. We have three active projects right now, ranging from Battlebots to Competition Drones, and even a working android! We have weekly meetings on Tuesdays for those to come and learn about these projects. We would love to see you there!
