Rapid Prototyping Laboratory

Prototyping is very important in any design and manufacturing facility. MET students can obtain their real 3D models using the Rapid Prototyping Laboratory in a very short period of time. The newly developed rapid prototyping laboratory is equipped with two RAISE3D Pro2 Plus large format printers. These printers have high repeatability (5 micron), lightning speed (< 1 second switching speed) and high reliability. This also allows students to print complex patterns for the foundry class.
