There are two main types of scholarships that you could receive. The major difference between the types of scholarships is the source of the scholarship money. The first type are awarded by Tennessee Tech University (TTU) and are called university scholarships. To apply for these, or for more information, visit TTU's scholarship web site. The Scholarship Office can be reached by email: email@example.com
The second type of scholarship that you could receive is called an outside scholarship or an external to TTU scholarship. These are any scholarships not awarded to you by the university. Examples include community scholarships such as those from your church, your high school or a Rotary club. These can also be scholarships or reimbursements from your parent's employer or from your service with AmeriCorps. For questions concerning outside scholarships, please see our web page dedicated to this topic (Outside / External Scholarships) and we also have information on our FAQ page (FAQs on scholarships), or contact the Financial Aid Office at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone 931-372-3073.
