Dr. Craig Zamer is the Director of Choral Activities at Tennessee Tech University where he directs a non-auditioned Concert Choir of 113 students and the Tech Chorale, TTU’s top auditioned choir. Dr. Zamer received his Masters degree and Doctorate in Music Education and Choral Conducting from The Florida State University where he studied with André Thomas, Kevin Fenton, and Judy Bowers. Before his graduate work he taught high school choral music at Stone Bridge High School in Loudoun County, Virginia. Dr. Zamer has been an invited adjudicator and clinician throughout the state of Tennessee as well as Virginia, Florida, Iowa, and Colorado. Dr. Zamer has also conducted abroad in England, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic. He also has conducted in Northern China at the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing, China.
