The 58th Annual Festival of Winds and Percussion at Tennessee Tech

The School of Music at Tennessee Tech University will hold the 58th annual Festival of Winds and Percussion on Saturday, February 13, 2021. This virtual event is FREE and will be divided into two tracks: 

TRACK 2—Schedule of Events

Band directors will participate in continuing education sessions with our guest clinicians and Tech music faculty.

    • 10:00-11:00 AM – Dr. Barry Houser, Developing a Culture of Excellence Through Positive Experiences
    • 11:00-12:00 PM – Mr. Alfred Watkins, It Worked for Me
    • 1:00-2:00 PM – Dr. Jack Eaddy, Retooling Your Conducting Toolbox
    • 2:00-3:00 PM – Dr. Mark Cramer, Getting the Best from Your Clarinets

Because this is a virtual event, due to COVID-19, space is not limited. Band directors with or without students participating are welcome.

Participants will register by filling out the appropriate Track registration form below. The deadline to register for this event is Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Participants will be contacted directly with details about how to access the virtual Festival.
