Tennessee Tech is located in Cookeville, TN, which was recently selected as the #1 most affordable college town in the United States. Read the original article from Great Value Colleges. Great Value Colleges used data from the Council for Community and Economic Research for this report.
Tennessee Tech has 16 residence halls: 2 halls for men and 1 hall for women, and 13 co-ed halls, accommodating approximately 2,650 students. Rooms are designed for double occupancy; however, a few single and triple rooms are available. Rooms are furnished to include standard twin beds or loft beds and mattresses, desks, chairs, dressers, telephone, smoke detector, window shades, closets, and a wastebasket. Students may provide their own personal items to make their room more unique and comfortable. Your residence hall room will soon feel more like home after you have added your own personal touches.
Additionally, all rooms receive expanded basic cable service at no additional charge. All 16 residence halls are wired for ResNet. ResNet is short for Residence Hall Computer Network. Each of these hall rooms has a ResNet connection and WI-FI service along with state-of-the-art computer labs. All residence halls have laundry facilities and many halls now have food service offerings
Many graduate students opt to live in "Tech Village" which is an apartment-type community with one or more bedrooms, living area, kitchens, and baths. More information about housing at TTU may be found at the Residential Life webpage.
