If you were previously admitted to a degree program and you have become inactive (skipped a semester, etc.) you must reapply for admission using Eagle Online.

This is your online application guide. The steps below explain the application process.

Step 1

Apply online for Graduate School admissions along with nonrefundable application fee $35 domestic students, $40 international students.

You will be able to upload the documents needed to complete Steps 2 through 5 of the application process. We will still need OFFICIAL test score reports and transcripts, but the uploaded copies will allow us to proceed with the processing of your application.

Step 2

Complete and mail Three (3) pdf_icon_sm Letters of Recommendation

(The M.B.A. program only requires one letter of recommendation).

Step 3

Official transcripts from ALL institutions attended beyond high school. Official transcripts are sent directly from the institution to Tennessee Tech, not submitted by the student. International students may submit attested transcripts. Official copies are to be sent directly to Office of Graduate Studies. (See address in Step 5)

Step 4

pdf_icon_sm Student Health Form Documentation required of 2 MMR vaccinations as well as 2 doses of the Varicella (chicken pox) vaccine. International students must also provide documentation of the TB Skin Test completed within 6 months prior to registration. This documentation is required prior to registration.

Approved Tests: TOEFL, IELTS, FLS International Language Center (Level 8 or 9, program specific), PTE Academic, ELS, TOEIC, CEFR and SLEP and the appropriate test as required by colleges. Please note that the majors of Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Psychology and Counselor Education have limited which tests they will accept. Please see those specific programs for the accepted tests.

The Counseling Center administers the following standardized tests for a fee: Miller Analogies Test (MAT) and the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) - Subject Tests only

Your application fee should be paid with your online application. Any supplemental materials should be mailed to:

Once all materials have been received, the application file will be evaluated for admission. This is completed by the individual departments (with the exception of the Ed.S. programs in Counseling and Psychology and all programs in Curriculum and Instruction where the Office of Graduate Studies performs the evaluation).

After an admission recommendation is made, Graduate Studies will notify the student.
