Why Cite?

Citation is REQUIRED whenever you borrow ideas and concepts from someone else. If you do not cite other people's ideas, you are plagiarizing, which is a violation of copyright. As a student, the punishment for plagiarism can range from a lower assignment grade to being dismissed from the university.
