Publishing Process Overview

Experiences with publishers can vary widely, but the steps below summarize the general publishing process. 

1.  Determine authorship
2.  Write and edit content
3.  Select a publisher
4.  Submit your work to the selected publisher
5.  Receive notification of publisher's decision (publish as is, publish with edits, decline)
6.  Edit as per publisher instructions
7.  Work is published
