Interventionist Biology, 6-12

The Interventionist / Biology (6-12) concentration studies the best ways to educate and improve the lifestyles of children with a range of challenges (learning, cognitive, behavioral, emotional, physical) and unique gifts. Students in this degree program will earn teacher licensure for grades 6-12, with content focused on the instruction of biology in middle and high school. Our program offers a curriculum designed to provide a strong foundation of teaching skills, access to the latest in educational strategies, and instructional theory. Students in licensure programs also engage in extensive clinical experiences in public schools for hands-on training, professional collaboration, and classroom management. Nationally accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
