Experience STEM at the Movies, a FAB Friday hosted by Tech’s Oakley STEM Center, February 1

Families explore virtual reality through high-tech experiences at Tennessee Tech’s Oakley STEM Center for the Teaching and Learning of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

The Oakley STEM Center will be having STEM at the Movies on Feb. 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Adventurers will explore the science, technology, engineering, and mathematical elements of the big screen with hands-on fun, experiencing the Virtual Theater, and more.

“The Oakley STEM Center’s interactive learning activities really engage the whole family,” said Darek Potter, the center’s director. “From the FAB Friday events to the Safari Saturdays, geared for PreK-3rd graders, to the resources of the STEM Lending Library, we are delighted to offer an array of accessible experiences.”

FAB Fridays are free events; age-appropriate for 3rd-8th graders and their families. Visit tntech.edu/stem to make your reservations online.
