The Tennessee Tech University music department will host the fifth annual Festival of Voices Friday, Sept. 20.
Five high school choirs from around Tennessee will participate in an all-day festival were they will have an opportunity to interact with TTU students and guest clinician and conductor, Florida State University's Kevin Fenton.
Each choir will work individually with Fenton in the morning and in the afternoon all the choirs, including The Tech Chorale TTU’s top vocal ensemble will join forces to learn two pieces of music togehter.
The festival concludes with an evening concert at 7 p.m. featuring all five choirs and the Tech Chorale. The grand finale will combine the voices from all the choirs in a performance directed by Fenton. The concert is free and open to the public and will be in Wattenbarger Auditorium in the Bryan Fine Arts building at 1150 N. Dixie Ave.
