The performance will be comprised of arias by Mozart and Verdi, songs by Hugo Wolf and H. Leslie Adams, a selection from “Fiddler on the Roof” and several traditional African-American spirituals.
Bugg has performed extensively throughout the South, including Opera Birmingham, Chattanooga Opera and Atlanta Civic Opera. He has been a featured singer and soloist in England and at the International Hayden Festival. He has degrees from the University of Memphis, the Southern Baptist Theological School of Music and Furman University.
The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. in TTU’s Wattenbarger Auditorium, in the Bryan Fine Arts Building, 1150 N. Dixie Ave., Cookeville. It is free and open to the public.
