Published: Tue Oct 5, 2010McMinn County student Kurt J. Zollner was selected to be part of the College of Business Student Ambassador's team at Tennessee Tech University.
Zollner, son of Steve and Dawn Zollner, is a senior accounting major. He graduated from McMinn County High School in 2007. Zollner received the Financial Executive Institute Excellence, HOPE, Vice Presidential Residence Life and the Captain William Anderson scholarships.
Zollner is part of the accounting club, treasurer of Beta Gamma Sigma, business mentor and residential life worker.
The College of Business Student Ambassadors are students with strong communications skills. The group helps the college with several important endeavors including hosting various COB events (such as Fall Celebration donor dinner, Homecoming, WOW, Student-to-Career programs), making recruitment visits to high schools and community colleges, and providing tours of Johnson Hall and the TTU campus.
