Eight-time Paralympic Track and Field international medalist, world record holder and three-time American record holder Patrick “Blake” Leeper will speak in Tennessee Tech’s Derryberry Hall Auditorium Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.

Born without legs below his knees, he has never been one for excuses. Leeper started his medal run in 2011 at the Parapan American Games where he took his first silver in the 100-meter dash.

Now, he shares his personal story and inspired audiences. Taking them through every twist and turn, this Leeper keeps audiences on the edge of their seats. Leeper seeks to leave those he meets with a sense of confidence and the determination to never give up.

This is a Center Stage event made possible by the university’s general education fund. It is free and open to the public.

Derryberry Hall is located at 1 William L. Jones Drive, Cookeville.
