French-born, Polish-raised pianist Graciella Kowalczyk will present a recital Oct. 22 at Tennessee Tech University.
The all-Chopin concert will include “Barcarolle,” one nocturne, one Polonaise, three etudes and the “Sonata in B Minor.”
Sponsored by TTU’s Center Stage, the concert is free and open to the public. It will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, in Wattenbarger Auditorium in the Bryan Fine Arts Building.
Kowalczyk has performed across four continents and more than 15 countries. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Kansas and has received awards and scholarships from international competitions and institutions across the globe. She is the artistic director of Doctors for Music: Where Medicine meets the Arts, an international non-profit.
The Bryan Fine Arts Building is at 1150 N. Dixie Ave. on the TTU campus.
