Published: Thu Mar 16, 2006American Pianist Association fellow Michael Sheppard is thought to be a prodigy of this generation, and now his music will be heard at Tennessee Tech University in a concert on March 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Wattenbarger Auditorium.
A student of the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, he has made numerous appearances at chamber recitals, national orchestras and solo concerts throughout the United States and Europe. Sheppard has also presented private concerts to political diplomats.
He has held master classes at universities and higher learning institutions and will present another at TTU at 11 a.m. on March 30.
A Center Stage event, the evening’s concert will be free and open to the public.
