thumb RosesAreRedShow_02Pottery by a selection of nationally recognized potters will be on display at the Appalachian Center for Craft at Tennessee Tech University until Nov. 23.

The show – Roses are Red, Pots are Brown – includes functional pottery featuring atmospheric fired work depicting surface decoration of floral motifs. The show is in the North Windows Gallery and has been curated by Craft Center artists in residence Bryce Brisco and Jennifer Cole.

The Craft Center will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Monday, Dec. 23. It will reopen Thursday, Jan. 2. It is free to the public.

The Craft Center is located approximately six miles off Interstate 40 at exit 273, Smithville/McMinnville. Go south on state Route 56 and turn left immediately after crossing Hurricane Bridge. This drive leads to the Craft Center.
