Visitors can explore the studios and experience narrated craft demonstrations by the students, faculty, and volunteers. Watch as the artists display their skills in glass blowing, woodturning, furniture making, fabric weaving and surface design, blacksmithing, metal jewelry making, and wheel throwing and handbuilding in clay.
Guests can get even more involved with a new addition to this year's celebration—mini workshops. Adults and kids 12 and older can sign up to spend time wheel throwing clay, making a copper bracelet, creating a glass bead, or tie-dying fabric. Participants can take their piece home that day; there will be a small fee for these activities.
The younger kids will love creating their own art with hands-on craft projects including clay handbuilding, paper marbling, photography, and tiny tot jewelry.
