Tennessee Tech students looking for financial assistance have an important date approaching.
The deadline to complete the 2019-2020 Tennessee Tech University Scholarship Application is December 15. All students must complete this application in order to be considered for scholarships in the 2019-2020 academic year.
Tennessee Tech offers over 600 scholarship opportunities, some university-funded and some provided by generous donors who wish to help students succeed.
“The annual scholarship application is a great tool for students because they do not need to apply separately for every individual scholarship,” said Cassandra Gronendyke, Tech’s scholarship coordinator. “One application puts them in the running for everything they qualify for.”
Scholarship awarding will begin in mid-January and continue through the end of March.
Incoming freshmen must be admitted to the university before they can apply for scholarships.
Even if a student has a renewable departmental scholarship this year, they must re-apply in order for that scholarship to be renewed.
Admitted and currently enrolled students can access the application by logging into their Eagle Online portal, choosing the “Student” tab, and selecting the Scholarship Application link.
Students who apply should monitor their student email accounts for scholarship offers and accept any offers promptly.
