The Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Tennessee Tech University will host a workshop entitled, “Beginning QuickBooks for Small Business,” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7, in the conference room at the Tennessee Vocational Rehabilitation Center, 955 E. 20th St., Cookeville.
The hands-on workshop goes through the process of setting up business finances in QuickBooks. Topics include business setup, check writing, invoicing and report generation. The speaker is Jules Doux, QuickBooks pro-adviser.
The cost of the workshop is $75 and includes a box lunch.
Seating is limited and pre-registration is required by Friday, Nov. 4. Payments may be made before the workshop by check or cash. This workshop will be taught on laptop computers using QuickBooks 2011.
