The Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Tennessee Tech University will host a free seminar, “How to start a small business,” from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1, in the community room at Roane State Community College’s Crossville campus.
The seminar is aimed to help people who are interested in starting their own business and will address startup basics and challenges, business structures and planning, financing options and cash needs, among other things.

The seminar is co-sponsored by the Cumberland Business Incubator at Roane State Community College.
