The Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Tennessee Tech University will conduct a workshop, “Microsoft Word 2007 for Small Business,” from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, in Johnson Hall 307 at 1105 N. Peachtree Ave., Cookeville.
The workshop is free, but registration is required.
“TSBDC recognizes the small business need for free or low-cost training on the most common software products, “ said Vicki Henley, director of the TSBDC at TTU. “We offer this workshop to help small business owners learn the essentials of Microsoft Word.”
Led by Gwen Paul, TSBDC program assistant, the workshop will offer an opportunity for hands-on training in the use of Word 2007 software. Topics will include formatting documents, adjusting margins, templates, mail merge, brochures and fliers and more. Participants should have basic keyboarding and computer skills, but no prior experience with Word 2007 is necessary.
