If you are thinking of starting your own business, there is a lot you need to know. The Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Tennessee Tech University is offering a seminar in June that will point you in the right direction.
“So, You Want to Start a Business?” will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 1, in TTU’s Johnson Hall 218. Johnson Hall is on TTU’s campus at 1105 N. Peachtree Ave. in Cookeville.
The seminar, led by TSBDC assistant director John Woodard, will address topics of interest to potential entrepreneurs and new business owners, including startup basics, business structures, challenges for startups, business planning, cash needs and financing options.
