The Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Tennessee Tech University will sponsor “Grow your Business by being Internet Savvy and Net-Centric,” a workshop about internet marketing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, in TTU’s Johnson Hall, room 218, at 1105 N. Peachtree Ave. in Cookeville.
Today, every business needs to be internet savvy. Websites, social media and other online marketing options are often critical to business success, but software product and website development can be expensive. This workshop will use the internet to provide a guided tour of several free or low-cost software products that can take a business to the next level. Participants will learn how these products can be used and where to find them.
The workshop is free and will be presented by Michael Aikens, manager of TTU’s BusinessMedia Center and a professional web developer.
