The 2011-12 exhibition season at the Joan Derryberry Art Gallery at Tennessee Tech University will feature a variety of artists and mediums, including drawing, sculpture, tapestry, painting, contemporary crafts and printmaking.
The year will kick off Sept. 6 with a selection of drawings by Christopher Troutman of Charleston, Ill. The drawings will be on display until Sept. 27.
In October, the gallery will be full of cut paper wall sculpture by Charles Clary of Murfreesboro, Tenn. TTU’s art and Appalachian Center for Craft faculty will be featured in November and the college’s Visual Art Society sale will be Dec. 1 and 2.
Exhibiting artists are selected from across the country through a competitive process. The gallery is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
