“For the last several years, we have enjoyed the opportunity to share the spirit of the season with the community by having a children’s choir join us on stage, and this year we are delighted that Tracie Craighead and the students at Algood Elementary will be singing with us,” said Joshua Hauser, trombone professor and ensemble coordinator.

The evening’s performance will feature a wide variety of holiday favorites including the “Carol of the Bells,” “My Favorite Things,” music from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” “Joy to the World” and more. The centerpiece of the performance will be a setting of Charles Dickens’ holiday classic “A Christmas Carol,” narrated by TTU music department chairwoman Jennifer Shank.

Members of the quintet are Charles Decker and Chris McCormick, trumpets; Greg Danner, horn; Hauser, trombone and Ryan Snell, tuba.

The Bryan Fine Arts building is at 1150 N. Dixie Ave. The concert is free and open to the public.
