Oboe professor Bill Woodworth will give Tennessee Tech University’s first faculty recital of the academic year at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4.
Woodworth will be accompanied by fellow TTU professors clarinetist Wonkak Kim, bassoonist Jim Lotz and South Korean pianist Grace Eunhye Choi in the free concert in Wattenbarger Auditorium of the Bryan Fine Arts Building.
The concert will include four compositions from the 18th to the 20th centuries.
The concert is Woodworth’s annual faculty recital. He has been the principal oboist in the Bryan Symphony Orchestra for 25 years, and he frequently performs and records in Nashville. He also serves as manager and oboist for TTU’s Cumberland Quintet.
