There is a lot to learn before starting a business. Tennessee Tech University’s Tennessee Small Business Development Center is hosting a free seminar from 5 to 7 p.m. April 29 to help you get started.

John Woodard, assistant director of Tennessee Tech’s TSBDC, will address topics of interest to potential entrepreneurs and new small business owners. Attendees will learn business startup basics, business structures and planning, cash needs and financing options.

The seminar will be located on the second floor of TTU’s Johnson Hall 218, 1105 N. Peachtree.

Although admission is free, registration is required and can be done by visiting the website at or by calling the TSBDC office at TTU at (931) 372-3648.
