Finals at Tennessee Tech University will be held as scheduled Wednesday evening, Dec. 15. If you are a student with a scheduled final and have difficulty getting to campus due to icy weather, please contact your faculty member for an alternate testing time on Thursday, Dec. 16.
At this time, the university is continuing to follow the inclement weather policy through Tuesday, Dec. 14. University officials are monitoring local and regional weather conditions and will continue to do so throughout the week. "We want to give students all the information they need in a timely manner to make safe decisions," said President Bob Bell. If the weather dictates a change in the finals' schedule, those alerts will be communicated through local and regional media and posted to the university website, and the campus will be informed through e-mail, Facebook and Tech Times.
The university is continuing to follow the inclement weather policy as of Tuesday, Dec. 14. At this time, the regular schedule for finals is being followed. Finals are included in the definition of "missed work" referred to in the inclement weather policy. If there is a change to the schedule, the university will communicate to the campus community using Tech Times, the TTU website, e-mail and Facebook.
