Published: Tue Oct 5, 2010White County student Christopher Simons was selected to be part of the College of Business Student Ambassador's team at Tennessee Tech University.
Simons, son of Mike and Diana Simons, is a junior accounting major. He graduated from White County High School in 2008. He received the Sigma Chi general leadership grant, was awarded for outstanding academic accomplishments and leadership activities, and made the Dean's List. He is part of the Sigma Chi fraternity, Beta Alpha Psi and Phi Kappa Phi.
After graduation, Simons wants to get his master's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting.
The College of Business Student Ambassadors are students with strong communications skills. The group helps the college with several important endeavors including hosting various COB events (such as Fall Celebration donor dinner, Homecoming, WOW, Student-to-Career programs), making recruitment visits to high schools and community colleges, and providing tours of Johnson Hall and the TTU campus.
