This seminar will be the first in a series to be offered by the TTU SBDC entitled "Microsoft Office 2007 Skills for Small Business." The programs to be covered in this series are Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.
"Office 2007 can be a very powerful tool for the small business owner," said Gwen Paul, an employee of the TTU SBDC and the instructor for the course.
This seminar will offer an opportunity for hands-on training in the use of Word 2007 software. Topics will include small business applications such as formatting documents, adjusting margins, using templates, using mail merge, creating brochures and flyers, and much more. Basic keyboarding and computer literacy skills are required, but no prior experience with Word 2007 is needed.
The seminar will be held in TTU's Johnson Hall, Room 214B. There is no cost for the seminar.
Due to the limited class size, registration is required. Reservations may be made by calling (931) 372-3292 or by visiting the Cookeville SBDC website at www.cookevillesbdc.org.
