FAQs for Aquatics

Q. How do I rent a locker?

For your convenience, the Fitness Center provides lockers in the pool area. You may choose either free daily usage or rent a locker by the semester for students or 6-or 12- months for members. A lock should be placed on your locker to insure the security of your possessions.

If you choose daily usage, bring your workout gear and store in a locker for the duration of that day's workout. Bring your own lock or check one out from the Equipment Room, located in the main lobby. Long term rental is initiated in the Fitness Center's main office, Room 118. See the below table for pricing. A lock is provided with this option.

Q. Do you supply towels to swimmers?

Towels are only available through towel cards and can be purchased in the main office, Room 118. A towel card gives unlimited towels for the specified time.

Q. Is the pool inspected by the State Health Department?

Q. How do I find out the temperature of the pool?

The pool staff strives to keep the temperature at 83 degrees. Over the years, we have found that this is the best compromise for all populations and for the diverse activities that take place in the pool.  For the current temperature, please call 931-372-6215.
