Explorations in Engineering and Computing Camp
Applications will open soon!
A one-week-long Engineering and Computing summer camp for rising 12th-grade students hosted at Tennessee Tech University, the state's only four-year technological university. During this camp, students will get to experience and engage in hands-on projects related to the top engineering and computing fields, taught by our engaging faculty members. Students will work directly with industry leaders, tour and experiment in state-of-the-art laboratories, and experience all college life has to offer. During this program, students will be mentored by current Tennessee Tech students and learn what it means to be an engineering student.
By the end of this camp, students will have gained in-depth knowledge about the seven engineering and computing programs at Tennessee Tech, chemical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing and engineering technology, and mechanical engineering. Students will showcase their engineering skills in a group design project and have the opportunity to be awarded a College of Engineering scholarship.
Our Mission: To provide students who show an interest in engineering studies an early exposure to and preparation for scientific study and research. We provide activities that will spark an interest in the world of engineering and computing and allow students to explore career opportunities. Throughout the program, participants will be challenged to apply what they have learned in engineering and computing activities.
