About the Counseling Center
The Counseling Center is committed to providing comprehensive, quality services for all students dealing with academic, psychological and adjustment issues. The staff of the Counseling Center is available to assist students with their personal and social concerns in hopes of helping them achieve satisfying educational and life experiences. Career Counseling is also offered, and there are a variety of groups and workshops that are offered throughout the school year. Services offered by the Counseling Center are free for enrolled students of TTU and are confidential .
As a member of the Division of Student Affairs, the Counseling Center's mission is to promote healthy student development during the college experience. In our efforts to accomplish this, the Counseling Center offers a wide range of mental health, educational, career, and consultative services to students and other members of the campus community.
The Counseling Center is located in the Roaden University Center, 3rd Floor, Room 307, or you may contact us at 931-372-3331.
If you have a clinical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. There is no one available to answer the phones outside of regular office hours. The University Police and Residential Staff are able to get in touch with clinical staff on call as deemed appropriate.
The TTU Counseling Center is open Mon. - Fri. 8 am - 4:30 pm. The office is closed from 12 - 1 pm for lunch.
