What is your favorite thing about TTU?
My favorite thing about TTU is how the campus has such a homey feel about it. I love walking to class and seeing people I know.
What is your most memorable TTU experience so far?
Bid day freshmen year and running out to a over a hundred girls who immediately made you feel like family!
How did you choose your major?
I came into college with my major as General Health Studies thinking I wanted to a be a nurse. I quickly changed my major once I did a project in that field. I knew it just wasn’t for me. I took some education classes and knew that was it.
What is your favorite meal at TTU?
Peanut butter and banana panini with Ruffle chips from the cafeteria!
Advice for incoming college freshman from your experience so far?
Go to everything single event that you can go to on campus and take a lot of pictures! You don’t want to be that one person who doesn’t know what’s going on because you didn’t go to something.
What is your favorite TTU Tradition and why?
My favorite TTU tradition is Week of Welcome! I love coming back to school in the fall and seeing all my friends, many of whom I hadn’t seen since we left for summer break.
What kind of extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus and in the community?
I am a member of a Panhellenic sorority, a Peer Mentor, and a Student Admissions Representative.
What movie star would you play in a movie? Why?
I would be Sara Paxton in Aquamarine because she gets to be a mermaid and is constantly in the ocean or at the beach!
What was your biggest mistake as a freshman? What did you learn from that experience?
I learned that I didn’t manage my time very well freshmen year and I would cram everything in at the last minute. Use your time wisely so you don’t have to pull an all nighter for a test that wasn’t needed.

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
